Founded in June 2012, Bonamici Cellars was created by consulting winemaker, Philip Soo with good friend and business partner Mario Rodi. Both having more than 15 successful years of experience in the wine industry, our passion for wine and the wine business has inspired us to create the Bonamici brand.
Bonamici – Italian for “good friends” captures the essence of our brand which is to share our passion for great wine and food with family and friends.

Pinot Grigio 2016

The Pinot Grigio by Bonamici was aged in Sur Lie stainless steel for 3 months. The result is a refreshing vintage with aromas and flavours of mango, pear, apple, citrus grapefruit and bright acidity. For best results, pair this white with seafood salads and Asian fusion cuisine.

Sauvignon Blanc Viognier 2016

Aromas of passionfruit, grassy floral, pear, apricots, and hints of bell pepper. This blend of Sauvignon-Blanc (60%) and Viognier (40%) has good acidity with nice clean balanced finish with nuances of peaches and vanilla in the aftertaste. Excellent with all types of seafood with a West Coast flare, summer salads, grilled chicken or chicken with light sauces.

Cabernet Franc Merlot 2016

This fruit forward wine boasts of aromas of black currant, cherry, and strawberry jam with nice subtle notes of black pepper spice and anise. Soft tannins with lots of berry fruit upfront with nice accompanying flavors of oak, dark coco and tobacco flavors. The wine finishes balanced with long lingering flavors.

Belviaggio 2014

This wonderfully unique bold, red wine is a blend of Cabernet Franc (60%), Syrah (30%) and Merlot (10%) varietals – Rich with aromas of black currant, black pepper and raspberry, with subtle notes of anise, vanilla and cocoa. Bursting with flavours on the palate – with notes of tobacco, toffee and blueberries with silky smooth tannins. Great with beef tenderloin, short ribs or rack of lamb dishes.
