1860s - land is cleared, settled and farm established
1920s - vines planted and vineyard established
1930s to today - commercial wine & table grape production
1978 - Riesling Weiss Family cl. 21 established
1980s - new plantings focus on vinifera varieties, particularly pinot varieties
2008 - family wine label and winemaking established

Through the vision and partnership of Ann and Susan Sperling, along with their husbands, Peter Gamble and Paul Richardson, the family lands and vines have become a vinous reality producing elegant wines of character.

Vin Gris of Pinot Noir 2015

Vin gris is white wine made from red grapes, in particular Pinot Noir. Winery’s estate Pinot Noir was used to create this elegant wine. The grapes were brought into the winery and whole cluster pressed, the juice was run off and removed from contact with the skin, leaving the pale gold colour, and delicate flavour compounds from the skin behind. The juice was fermented in stainless steel tanks and then moved into puncheons for 12 months.

Market White 2016

This aromatic blend of Bacchus, Pinot Blanc & Riesling from our historic site, is a pure expression of our East Kelowna benches: “Okanagan sunshine & freshness in a glass.”

Beautiful stone fruit aromas of peach, apricot & pear with crisp Macintosh apple and grapefruit on the palate. A clean, crisp finish.

Brut 2010

Made from a classic combination of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, and using the traditional method, including 36 months of aging on lees, in bottle, our Brut Reserve offers a expression of our heritage vineyard. 100% Estate Grown.

Pinot Noir 2015

After gentle pressing this sophisticated wine was aged in large format barrels (500 and 265L) for 12.5 months before bottling without sterile filtration. This wine integrates classic Pinot character with the minerality and structure that distinguish our spectacular, limestone rich slopes.

Marechal Foch 2016

Our Foch vines, produce low yields with intense, complex flavours. This rustic wine is made with smoky BBQs and long summer evenings in mind; or hearty braised dishes and cold winter nights.Being unfiltered it is slightly cloudy; for a white wine it has a lot of colour, and is slightly orange. Aromatically it has hints of bergemont or earl gray tea, jasmine, and stone fruits, the palette is fresh and long with texture and elegance due to the stem fermentation. It finishes dry and fresh.
