Brody agent for the winery in store 3:30-6:30pm
A fresh and fruity sparkling for the summer. Approachable and enjoyable, look for tropical fruit on the nose after poping the cork. The palate is a dance of mango, pineapple and bubbles with a clean, medium sweet finish. This wine is a great example that sparkling doesn’t have to be an occasion wine.
Faux Pas Brut
Made 100% Pinot Noir, this sparkling was gently pressed and cool fermented to preserve the fruity notes. Bright and fresh on the nose, look for cherry and mint aromas. The palate is balanced with strawberry, kiwi, rhubarb with delicate bubbles. Sparkling isn’t trust for aperitifs – try this one with a watermelon and feta salad.
Chorus White 2016
Stoneboat’s aromatic blend is a bit underappreciated. A mix of two lesser know German varietals (Schönburger & Muller-Thurgau) with Pinot Blanc, this wine is loaded with beach, melon and green apple and a layer of minerality. A refreshing white for the hottest days the summer has to offer.
Duet Red 2015
Stoneboat’s blend of Pinotage and Pinot Noir is a ready-made crowd pleaser for the summer. Blackberries and mocha with baking spices and clove make this a great counter point to the typical summer red. Complex without being pretentious, serve this with hamburgers from the grill with a summer ripe tomato.
Pinot Noir 2015
One of best selling Pinot’s and it’s not hard to see why. The nose is savory with notes or black cherry and raspberry. The palate is well balanced between beetroot, baking spice with just a touch of star anise. Tannis and acidity are there, but well integrated and the finish is pleasantly long. Great with all sorts of pork and poultry.
