Every Thursday on the first full week of the month we curate our wine club for our members. Our wine club is fee free, no commitment, and one of the best clubs in Vancouver to explore BC wines.
So we have decided on our weekend tastings to sample you on some of our special wine club wines.
See you Saturday!

Swirl Wine Club Wines
From 2-6 pm
Wild Goose Gewurztraminer 2017 (Okanagan Falls)
All Canadian Wine Championship 2018 white wine of the year! Wonderfully fragrant and floral on the nose, spicy and fruity on the palate. Gewurtztraminer means ‘spicy grape,’ so that’s your cue to pairing ideas. Thai curries are a classic, but also try grilled chicken with a spicy rub.
The Hatch Black Swift Hart Street Chardonnay 2016 (West Kelowna)
You sense that from the acidity that greets you right off the top, and freshness that continues throughout. The fruit is a mix of clones 53, 76 and 96, adding more complexity to the palate. The wine is aged in new French puncheons for 14 months. The nose is a mix of aromatic pears, orange spice, melon and apples. The palate is similar with more red apple and citrus and a touch of oaky bitterness.
Corcelettes Pinot Noir 2017(Keremeos)
Wine Align Awards 2017 Gold medal winner. Fermented in stainless steel and aged in French Oak, this Pinot Noir is made in a light, fresh style. Look for bright cherry and strawberry flavours on the palate. A great summer red, try with fish and grilled tomatoes or sautéed veggies. Pro tip: give this wine 15-30 in the fridge before serving.
Black Widow Phobia 2016 (Naramata)
A blend of 60% Syrah and 40% Merlot and barrel aged for 17 months, Phobia is made for barbecue. Medium bodied with soft tannins and cassis, black cherry and plum. This a wine for smoked meat, beef brisket or St Louis style ribs.
