Sat. Sept 8 - At the tasting bar - Wine Club Wines for September

On Saturday we are tasting some of the selections that we have for our wine club members. Our wine club has no fee, no contract, no restrictions so why not join.

Some of these wines have been very limited in their release or are almost stocked out already.

Join us on Saturday to see what all the buzz is about.

Here is what we are tasting on Saturday:

Swirl Wine Club Wines

Between 2-6 pm

Lake Breeze Pinot Blanc 2017

Lake Breeze Pinot Blanc is intensely fruity and aromatic. It has been our signature wine for many years and is a consistent award winner. The flavours and aromas of crisp apple and tropical fruits are complimented by more flinty notes from the fruit grown in the Similkameen valley. The result is a wine with great complexity and balance. Consistently clean, crisp and fresh.

Lariana Cellars Viognier 2017

"The fruit is 50% sourced from the Shady Lagoon Estate vineyard with remainder from Red Brick vineyard on the east side of Osoyoos lake. Fermented separately, both fermentations and aging are completed in concrete.

Upon a swirl in the glass, lush white peach with lime-grapefruit lurking in the wings dominate the aromas. Same flavours are further enhanced by a creamed yellow apple and all embraced by a high-pitched lemon curd finish." Senka Tennant - Winemaker

The Hatch Screaming Frenzy Pinot Noir 2016 (West Kelowna)

Sourced from grapes in East Kelowna – a haven for Pinot Noir – and aged in neutral oak this wine really shows off the grape. Look for bright red cherries and spice notes with medium body and fine tannins. Brilliant with poached salmon.

Bordertown Cabernet Franc 2016

Cabernet Franc has quickly established itself as a ‘go-to’ grape in the south Okanagan. Once known chiefly as a component grape for classic Bordeaux blends, it has now broken out on its own and is loved for its unique charms. These include deep expressive flavours of tobacco, dark spice, herbaceous green pepper, and a tiny hint of mint. All of this is achieved while maintaining supple tannins and dark berry flavours. The finish is pleasant and lengthy
