Black Market & Lunessence Wineries

Stuart in store 3:30-6:30pm

Lunessence Blanc de Noirs Rose 2017

This rose blend was pressed without any shin contact. 80% Cabernet Franc and 20% Pinot Noir. The grapes were hand-picked Sept. 2017. Both were grown to make rose wine. After pressing and natural fermentation, the wine was aged on the lees for 4 months and another 4 months in stainless. The result is a refreshing and mineral driven rose with gentle yet fresh acidity.

Black Market Omerta 2016

100% Pinot Noir

The vibrant nose has the hallmark aromas of wild strawberry and raspberry.  On the palate, the entry is bright and juicy, dominated by raspberry, wild strawberry and rhubarb. Crisp acidity with only the slightest hint of sweetness, this wine finishes dry.

Lunessence Quartet 2016

A blend of Riesling, Viognier, Gewurztraminer and Orange Muscat. Natural fermentation with 2-6 months on lees. This complex wine expresses the natural characteristics of each varietal and delivers crisp apple, pineapple, wild flower and citrus aromatics.

Black Market The Syndicate Red 2015

This medium to full-bodied Bordeaux-style blend is an elegant combination of Merlot (32%), Cabernet Franc (28%), Cabernet Sauvignon (24%) and Petit Verdot (16%).

An elegant, well-balanced wine that is approachable right out of the bottle, but with enough structure to enable cellaring and enjoyment over the next 5 years. The wine opens with seductive flavours of black cherries, currant, pomegranate and plum, layered with subtle cedar notes and a floral lift. The wine is concentrated, with well-integrated tannins and acidity that linger into a long finish.

Lunessence Cabernet Sauvignon 2016

Aged 6 months in Slovakian, Hungarian, and French oak, and 6 months in stainless steel. This wine captures the essence of the terroir and the characteristics of Cabernet Sauvignon. Black forest fruit and pepper underlined with oak and tannin.
