Ryan from the winery in store 3:30-6:30pm
Sourced from one of the finest vineyards in Cawston, this Napa style Chardonnay went through malolactic fermentation and was aged for 10 months on its lees in 40% new French oak and 60% second fill American oak. This wine is rich in every sense of the word with a full mouthfeel, buttery texture and ripe, tropical fruit flavours. Will age well for several years; best enjoyed with duck, lamb stew or an evening sunset.
Red Fox Rose 2017
This jammy rosé shows flavours and aromas of ripe strawberries and cherries with subtle undertones of white pepper, cherry blossom and fresh herbs. Pairs well with breakfast croissant, spinach salad or a vacation rental.
Pinot Noir 2015
Ripe strawberries and raspberries intermingle with a creamy palate from concrete aging over 11 months on gross lees. Gentle tannins and fresh acidity help to carry the very lengthy finish.
A medium bodied syrah, you are greeted with aromas of coffee, vanilla, ripe red plums and toasty oak, followed by flavours of blackberry, raspberry, plum, coffee and black pepper with a long, soft finish.
Packed with ripe red fruit notes on the noes, aromas of plum, cherry, brown sugar and eucalyptus, transitioning into blackberry, blackcurrant with underlying hints of leather, black licorice and herbs on the palate.
