Our SWIRL Wine Club celebrates the best of BC wine. We focus on winners from the most of the wine Competitions so you can get all the award winning wines every month. All wine are chosen by our expert WSET-certified staff. We also partner with wineries to offer special wines available only to club members. Each collection includes extra information such as detailed tasting notes, award information, food pairing suggestions, and cellaring recommendations. 8th Generation Classic Riesling 2017 (Summerland)
GOLD -All Canadian Wine Championship 2018 100% old vine Riesling 32 year old vines. Residual Sugar 7.7 The Queen of German wines offers oodles of fruit and acidity in perfect balance. It features a scintillating fruity lemon nose, apples on the palate, and an amazing minerality. A Riesling which will surprise & convince at the same time, as it is not sweet at all and for that reason a matchmaker when it comes to food pairing. Try with West coast Cuisine, baked cheese dishes, seafood, chicken, veal, pork, pasta, grilled veggies or just a plate of charcuterie.
Deep Roots Parentage White 2017 (Naramata)
80 % Muscat, 15 % Riesling and 5 % Gewurztraminer A powerful nose with papaya, lychee, poached pears, lemon, grapefruit and sweet floral notes. The palate is off-dry, balanced with crisp acidity and there are flavours of lemon, pear skin, orange and grapefruit zest with a touch of spice on the finish.
Stag’s Hollow Syrah 2016 (Okanagan Falls)
Pure, fresh red fruit with layers of floral and cinnamon spice notes. It is bright and tense in the mouth with a savoury yet plump mouth feel. Red currant, blueberry and strawberry flavours are supported by a juicy acidity and a gentle tannin structure.
Moraine Meritage 2015 (Naramata)
45% Merlot, 33% Cabernet Franc, and 22% Malbec. Each varietal was crafted in small fermentation vats allowing for optimal temperature control, tannin and aromatic extraction. The wines were aged in 49% new oak for 20 months. Aromas of black cherries, black currant, licorice, plums and tobacco intermingle with hints of sweet, toasty oak. Pair this wine alongside of some lamb curry, Irish stew, or a ribeye with peppercorn sauce.
