At our free tasting bar every Friday & Saturday we host winery owners, winemakers, winery agent and our wine experts are on hand to sample you 4-6 wine to try before you buy. Tasting bar hours are from 330pm - 630pm .

Here is what we are tasting....

Wines "made from organic grapes" can include added sulfites, but the grapes must be certified organically grown. ... A biodynamic wine means that the grapes are farmed biodynamically, and that the winemaker did not make the wine with any common manipulations such as yeast additions or acidity adjustments.

Little Farm Chardonnay 2016

The 2016 Chardonnay has a complex nose combining savoury toasted almond, butter and bread dough lees notes with lemon, peach and nectarine. The palate shows a lovely, almost creamy, texture from the neutral oak and lees ageing before the trademark racy, crisp, mineral acidity kicks in and lasts through a long, electric finish.

Summerhill Riesling 2016

Notes of orange blossom, white peach, and ripe citrus fruits.

Food Pairing Notes: Pairs wonderfully with white fish, honeyed ham, spicy dishes, and apricot-flavoured soft cheese.

Sperling Pinot Noir 2016

Clear, pale purple core becoming slightly brick red towards rim. On the nose, plum and plenty of soft berry fruit: raspberries, strawberries, blackberries; slightly perfumed.
It is lightweight and buoyant with stewed raspberries and blueberries, caramelized orange rind, roasted Red Have peach, nutmeg, and very light tannins.

Clos du Soleil Syrah 2016

Immediately the perfumed nose of this wine envelops the taster with aromas of freshly crushed raspberries and black currants complimented with subtle notes of baking spice, sagebrush, and pepper.On the palate a bright and fresh acidity is met with these same flavours of wild raspberries accented with notes of blackcurrant and a hint of cloves. Soft and supple in the mouth with very fine tannins.
