Quail’s Gate Rose 2018 $18.99

A delicate pale salmon colour, anticipate notes of raspberry, strawberry and grapefruit with hints of rhubarb. The wine is crisp and refreshing on the palate with flavours of watermelon and red berries that lead to a long, dry finish. The perfect patio, poolside or picnic pairing, this wine is incredibly versatile. Try pairing with simple fare such as pizza, fresh Caprese salad, melon and prosciutto and spinach and strawberry salad.

Quail’s Gate Chardonnay 2016 $22.99

Pale lemon in the glass, expect aromas of ripe orchard fruit, briochie and a hint of minerality. The palate is bursting with bright stone fruit flavours along with a hint of butterscotch and citrus. This wine has very good intensity, a nice texture and beautiful mouthwatering acidity. This is a wonderfully versatile food wine. Try pairing with lemon roasted chicken, seafood risotto, or creamy butternut squash soup.

Quail’s Gate Old Vines Foch 2016 $25.99

On the nose, the wine opens with rich aromas of cherry, coffee and tobacco. The palate is dry with smooth tannins and notes of tart juicy cherries, smoked meat, dark chocolate and vanilla. Decanting this wine for an hour or two before serving will enhance your tasting experience. Try pairing with roasted venison, grilled Portobello burgers with blue cheese or pizza with sausage and mushrooms.

Quail’s Gate the Allison 2017 $24.99

Juicy and rich with aromas of black cherry and blueberry, licorice, violet, a hint of leather and tobacco with pepper and sage. A bright, lush palate of ripe dark berries with well integrated dusty tannins and a long finish. Try this robust wine with fire-grilled meats, forno pizza or anything on the barbecue.
