Fort Berens Riesling
Before you even take a sip, savour the aromas of tart apple and lime notes in this Riesling. Its balance of acidity, mineralty and zesty fruit make it crisp and refreshing. Notes of fresh tropical fruits will dance on your tongue in this full-bodied Riesling.
Grapes were whole cluster pressed and cold settled then fermented using various commercial yeasts to diversify the aromatic complexity. A slow and cold ferment ensured the retention of these aromas. Fermentation was halted to retain a residual sugar of 6.7g/l to balance taste.
This is an age-worthy wine. You can enjoy it now or it can be cellared for up to six years.
