On the weekends we are sample a small selection of wines while you shop. We will seasonally choose wine that we hope you will enjoy and have a chance to swirl, sip, shop and find a new favorite local wine.

La Stella Leggerio 2019 $26.99
The 2019 Leggiero made from old vines grown on the slopes of the Golden Mile offers up a balance of green apple, quince, bergamota and key lime. The palate is chiseled with a great burst of lime zest and tart pear.
Pair with Fresh Oysters with Mignonette and a squeeze of Lemon. Steamed Mussels in a Coconut, Ginger & Lemongrass Broth is another winning combination.

La Stella LaStellina Rose 2020 $26.99
LaStellina is a Rosato with personality and elegance. It is very slightly off-dry and intensely aromatic. This style of Rosato will complement any hot summer day on the patio or by the poolside. The cabernet franc adds some beautiful spice and herbal notes, Sangiovese bring with it those classic bing cherry notes while the Merlot provides a melange of red and dark fruit notes.
The slightly off dry and highly aromatic qualities of this wine complement dishes that carry spice or piquant flavours.

La Stella Fortissimo 2018 $37.99
Comprised of 57% Merlot, 18% Cabernet Sauvignon, 17% Cabernet Franc and 8% Sangivoese. Albeit young, this wine is as outstanding as we thought it would be; all the components are married seamlessly together.
The Palate is layered and while is still young and morphed into itself, it still offers plenty of pleasure in youth. One built for early drinking or cellaring with a medium+ aging curve ahead.
Pair with Braised Veal Shank, Osso Bucco or Tuscan Roast Lamb with a Rosemary Crust.

La Stella Maestoso Merlot 2016 $106.99
On the nose one finds pronounced notes of dark bramble fruit, coffee, black cherries, forest floor and vintage cigar box. Huge mouth coating velvety tannins leads through to an astonishing finish lasting well over a minute. The structure and acidity of the 2016 vintage means longer than normal aging requirement before the wine is settled down. A monumental wine indeed that restores wine lover’s faith in Merlot.
Maestoso demands the best cut of meat available: a dry aged, grass-fed rib eye would be ideal.
