Shop, Swirl & Sip Wine Sampling

On the weekends we are sample a small selection of wines while you shop. We will seasonally choose wine that we hope you will enjoy and have a chance to swirl, sip, shop and find a new favorite local wine.

Please note: This is not intended to be a free tasting like the past tastings at our tasting bar. We can not provide free tasting as we are limiting the number of customers at this time. Thanks for your understanding and stay posted for news as it unfolds.

Here is what we are sampling this week!

Shop, Swirl & Sip Wine Sampling

Friday, Saturday & Sunday

Orofino White Bridge 2018

Created from a blend of Muscats, Chardonnay and Riesling, this dry white wine is truly a sum of its parts. The Muscats bring huge aromatics of orange blossoms, the Riesling brings in citrus and bright acidity, while the addition of Chardonnay adds weight in the palate and rounds out the wine. This is very versatile and pairs well with sunshine but it can also handle spicy Asian dishes. 75% Muscat (2 clones) 13% Chardonnay 12% Riesling

Orofino Red Bridge Red 2018

Bordeaux varietals with the added depth of Syrah. Smooth and full. Look for lovely dark fruit framed by cherry cola and desert sage. Smooth tannins and mouth-filling richness lead to a satisfying finish. Drink now or cellar until 2028.

42% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Syrah

Orofino Gamay 2019

This Gamay is an homage to our love affair with Beaujolais. Meant to be highly drinkable and very food-friendly. Drink this all year long at both summer BBQs and with winter braised dishes. It is fermented on the skins and then  hand-punched until fermentation is complete. It is then gently pressed off the skins and put into older French barrels.  The wine is then carefully racked and bottled unfined and unfiltered. Very minimal intervention throughout the winemaking process. Light in colour and bursting with flavour.
