Grown at our Secrest Vineyard in Oliver, where small crop viticulture works to maximize ripening and intensify flavours. A hot fermentation extracts flavour and colour while 12 months in American and French oak create a wine that is dark, rich and robust. Exhibits smokey, earthy notes with cranberry, cocoa powder, and tobacco overtones. Flavours of chocolate, butterscotch and fruitcake. Dense with firm tannins and a lingering finish, it pairs well with steak and will age beautifully. Merlot is making it's comeback!
